Its that time of the year to be in a bikini out in the sun. With a few healthy exercising and dieting tips you’ll be looking amazing in no time. Just remember consistency is key here. In order for your plan of action to work you must follow through.

Make water your favorite drink! Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Stay away from all those soft drinks and carbonated beverages.

Don’t stuff your self with food in a single setting. Eating several meals a day helps the body to release less insulin, which keeps blood sugar steady and helps to control hunger. Eat small healthy snacks in between meals. The goal is to not stuff your self during a meal. This causes you to feel overly tired and lazy.

Opt for protein for every meal. It helps reduce your appetite, takes more energy to digest and makes you feel full longer.

Don’t eat out of boredom or depression! Go for a walk or do something physical instead. Downsize your dinner plate with fatty foods and fill it up with more veggies. Top Ways to Help You Slim Down Fast

Summer time is here and I’m sure that most of us are stressing out because we don’t want to pull our swimsuits out from the closets from the previous year or years. In this article you will learn about some new tips to help you slim down fast. Start off your day by eating breakfast. It takes calories to help your body digest calories. I’m not saying to eat bacon and eggs every morning but have a bowl of fruit or a bowl of special K.

Keep it simple but healthy. Always keep snacks handy. You must make sure to eat a healthy snack in between meals so that way you don’t binge at your next meal. I myself eat an apple or maybe a handful of almonds as a snack. Drink a full glass of water before and after your meals. Not only is it good for you but it keeps your stomach full. It also helps flush the food through your system.

Going to the gym regularly is more than a plus. Try and find a gym partner. Two people are better than one. That way you can motivate one another. My boyfriend and I go together. If I’m not in the mood then he pushes me to go anyways. And vice versa. I’m so glad we have each other to keep one another motivated. It makes all the difference. When planning your meals make sure to include lots of veggies and fruits. At dinner make sure to eat at least two cups of greens. That way your filling up on salad before your main course. With these tips you should be able to slim down fast and get into that swimsuit in no time.

For as long as I can remember, low fat foods have always been a major focus for people on diets, supermarkets and foods stores displays, TV programs and even famous chefs cookbooks.

Its easy to see the appeal too lets all eat foods that don’t contain fat and we’ll naturally avoid piling fat onto our bodies, right?
Sadly, contrary to popular belief this scientifically proven to be false. Let me explain why.

Your body has no connection between eating fat calories and the fat tissue you have inside your body. Therefore, it can and will take a calorie of any type and turn it into fat.

For example, many people choose pasta as a great dietary meal. Even more so when its not covered in meatballs and sauce. Now, even if you were to eat plain pasta on its own with no meat and sauce, you may think that you’ll be avoiding putting fat into your body, right?

Not so, as the body will begin to turn some of the pasta into fatty tissue regardless. It is the bodys way of insulating the body from any of the materials it has available.

Think of it like a caveman who is freezing to death. If he cannot find a sheeps skin to cover himself at night then he will take the leafs, grass and any other material he can to keep himself through the night, you see?

That’s exactly how your body is acting with food, it will take all it can to insulate you, whether its a greasy hamburger or a bowl of plain old rice.

Low carb diets are yet another fad diet that claims to help you lose weight quickly and easily. The idea behind them is to restrict the amount of carbohydrates consumed each day.

Sadly, restricting carbs in your diet is plain dangerous and comes with many negative side effects, such as mood swings, loss of concentration to name but a few.

The reason why low carb diets don’t work very well is because they starve your body of energy. Carbohydrates are the source of your daily energy and cutting back on them will leave you tired, depressed and miserable and could affect all areas of your life as a result (such as work and relationships)

Now, the reason low carb diets are still popular is because they do actually cause you to lose weight. However, they also cause your skin to look pasty and your eyes to look slightly glazed/vacant due to lack of energy.

Not to mention the aching muscles and joints your body will endure due to your low carb body taking much longer to recover from an exercise.

How to Lose Weight Enjoyably

Losing weight is often a problem for people due to two reasons. Firstly, it is the misinformation that they are bombarded with, most of which contradicts itself and each and is often downright false.

Secondly, there may often be issues with mindset that can stop a person from either making lifestyle changes to accommodate their new diet or from having the strength to say no when friends say oh, go on.

Losing weight does not have to be some major upheaval. In fact, its far easier to lose weight gradually and enjoyably over a longer period of time than it is to try and change your daily habits overnight.

If you aim to lose 2 lbs per week, you’ll still enjoy a varied diet and will not have to become a gym rat at the same time.

In order to maintain a 2lbs per week loss (which is easier than you think), we’ll need to look at improving the diet, exercise habits, and detoxifying our system.

Healthy Diet

The basics apply here more than anything else, particularly when starting out. Make sure you’re eating plenty of fruit and vegetables each week, and that you aim to drink at least a few glasses of water a day (or more if you can). Avoid sugary foods where possible and swap out for fruit snacks instead. Do not drink fruit juice instead of water or fruit however, as the sugar content will pile on pounds quickly.

Try to cook your meats and fish in a non stick frying pan so that cooking oil is not required, and if you insist on chips/fries, then oven bake or grill them for a healthier meal.

Finally, try to eat smaller meals but more often throughout the day. This will keep your body burning fat as it no longer needs to store fat and sugars from previous meals. Eating more regularly helps keep your metabolism up and reduces the need for cravings too.

Exercise

Some of us cringe at the thought of exercise, but any form of exercise is sufficient providing you do it at least 3 times a week or more. You don’t need to be a gym rat to stay fit, but you do need to get up and move about for 30 minutes at least 3 times per week, so that your heart is beating faster than it would at its normal resting rate.

Even if it means a brisk walk to the shops and back, this can be enough to shed the pounds over the months ahead. In fact, walking is one of the best exercises you can do, because it burns the most actual fat from your body, and not just carbs.

Essentially, that is all there is to it.

You don’t need to go mad with the diet or exercise plans; you just need to be able to stick to them. Obviously you’re going to have to curb your fatty snacks such as crisps and chocolate, but you’ll find that if you follow a plan that fills your day with eating the right foods (not all salads and fruit either!) then you’ll never feel hungry enough to snack in the first place.
